Wormholes

Field Summary

Wormhole safety comes from shared state and disciplined notes. A useful chain board records systems, connections, signatures, mass/lifetime state, exits, and the assumptions scouts are relying on.

Checklist

  • Record system, connection type, signature, lifetime, mass state, and last checked time.
  • Mark which notes are confirmed, inferred, or stale.
  • Keep exit routes and dangerous neighbors visible.
  • Export local notes before clearing browser storage or changing machines.

Warning Signals

  • A critical connection is near end-of-life or mass-critical.
  • Notes do not say when the scout last checked the chain.
  • A route depends on an unverified signature.
  • Activity changes while the board still reflects an old scan.

Common Mistakes

  • Treating an old chain note as current intel.
  • Skipping mass/lifetime state because the route worked earlier.
  • Mixing confirmed and guessed paths without labels.
  • Moving expensive ships before a fresh scout check.

Next Actions

  • Use the Wormholes board to record chain state.
  • Use Route Scout for known-space exits.
  • Paste D-scan or notes into Intel Desk before committing to a fight or site.
